Realme GT: April 2022 Security Patch with C.16 Build

Realme GT Software Update:

Realme has begun the staged rollout of the April 2022 security patch via OTA for the Realme GT model. The latest security patch carries the build number RMX2202_11.C.16 which fixes some security, system, and camera issues.

Realme GT was released on 18th August, 2021 with Android 11 Out-of-the-box.

The official changelog comes with the security update which integrates the March 2022 and April 2022 Android security patches. It also increases the stability of the device to improve system performance and enhance the experience of the user. It also fixed the issue in the status bar where the icons were not displayed properly when the screen is locked.

The update also improved the fingerprint sensor/recognition to unlock the phone easily as it was not working properly before. Photos taken by the 64MP camera is optimized and enhanced to enhance the camera quality and experience of the user.

Remember, this is a staged rollout. It will be randomly pushed to a limited number of users to ensure there are no critical bugs. If no critical bugs are found, the full rollout will be completed in the upcoming days.

Previously it had got two updates in the month of March, which had brought the February 2022 Security Patch with C.12 Build it had fixed a ton of issues in the system and just at the end of march it had received another March OTA Update with C.15 Build which had bough internal fixes.

How long will it get updates ?

As stated above, the Realme GT was released in India on 18th August 2021, with Android 11 Out-of-the-box.In December 2021, Realme gave early access beta version which was provided to a limited number of users. In January 2022, the device got the stable update of Realme UI 3.0-based Android 12.
