Breaking News: Realme C31 users can now experience Android 12, with Realme UI 3.0 by enrolling on the Early Access program, although it is for testing purposes we don't recommend you try as of now.
Realme has finally started the enrollment of the Realme UI 3.0 trial version for Realme C31, the trial version is basically an early access version of Android 12. The users can register for early access from the 13th of July onwards, and it is only limited to 200 users at the moment.
Realme C31 was released on 31th March,2022 with Android 11 out-of-the-box.
Q) Main Question when will it get the Android 12 stable release:
A) As per our information, all Realme devices undergo 3-4 trial/beta releases
Early Access>Open Beta>Open Beta 2> Open Beta 3 (minimum)
This whole process takes about 2-3 months plus 1 additional for full-rollout batch-wise, probably from our expectation the stable release date for Android 12 will be Sept-Oct 2022 or Later.
Previously the device was upgraded to June 2022 security patch with A.33 Build on the 30th of June 2022 for added security. The security patch has been upgraded this time but solves some of the basic system issues. This is a beta program that allows our Realme fans to experience the whole new features for the first time. Keep in mind that being early software there might be bugs and some apps might not work properly. Installing the Early Access software on your primary phone might not be recommended.
When does the Early Access begin?
The application channel will open on 13th July 2022. The applications will be accepted in batches and only limited seats are available for Realme C31 Testers.

What do I need to know before joining Early Access?

Please make sure your phone is not rooted.
To prevent data loss, please backup your personal data before proceeding.
Some third-party application versions might not be compatible with Android 12 yet, after updating these applications might not be available or crash on your device. Therefore, it is recommended to update all your applications to the latest version available on the Play Store before your update.
The Early Access versions may have an unpredictable impact on your phone and affect daily use.
Please ensure that the available phone storage is more than 5 GB. Otherwise, there will be a risk of update failure (To check the phone storage head to Settings > Storage).
Due to unpredictable factors such as network communication and strategy adjustment, it is not possible to guarantee that every applicant will receive the update. In case the update is not received, we suggest you patiently wait for the official release.

> If you encounter any bugs or want to share your suggestions while using the Early Access software, please contact the group manager through the internal test chatting group (and attach a photo sample if the bug or suggestion concerns the camera app or photography experience).

Q) Why have I not received the Early Access update yet?
A) You will receive the update soon after submitting all needed information in the application channel, but keep in mind that we have limited seats to ensure an optimal beta testing program.
Q) How do I roll back to Android 11?
A) Read the disclaimer below and follow the instructions to roll back:
Your personal data will be erased when you roll back. Please back up your data before the operation.
You will not be able to get back to the Early Access version once you have rolled back.
You need to manually update to the latest Android version in case you lose some pre-installed applications.
Step 1: Download the rollback package onto your phone’s directory.
Download the rollback package to your internal storage and change the name to update
Settings → System → Local software update →Select the “OK” button three times
Note: Please do not stop the progress during upgrading the system. Be sure not to forcibly interrupt the process during the upgrade process. If you feel it affects your use, please do not apply for the early access version.
