Oneplus released an incremental software update, September 2021 security patch for the Oneplus Nord CE smartphone. It was introduced in June 2021 with the Android 11 operating system, running OxygenOS 11.
Now Oneplus released OxygenOS 11.0.9.9 along with September 2021 security patch this update is being rolled out in a stagged manner, and gradually all users will get updates batch wise.

As mentioned above, this is a Software update for OnePlus Nord CE 5G and not the major/stable OS update as it has an Android 11 OS already.
Therefore, Android 12 will be the first major OS update on this device and it is also eligible to be on the Android 13 update list as well as it will reportedly receive only two major OS updates.

The OnePlus Nord CE Software Update with OxygenOS 11.0.9.9 is currently rolling out in phases. Once the update is available on your device, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to update your Oneplus device with the latest update.
