OnePlus has begun the incremental rollout of the 11.2.5.5 update for the Oneplus 9R along with the September 2021 Security Patch and improvements in system behaviour like warp charing & app crashing issues.
OnePlus 9R was released on 14th April, 2021 with Android 11 out of the box .
Oneplus 9R was running with OxygenOS 11.2.4.4 which has received the update to OxygenOS version of 11.2.5.5 now. Similarly, the bigger models the Oneplus 9 and Oneplus 9 Pro also got the latest security update with XPan mode.

This update brings with it September security patches, bug fixes and other minor improvements.

The OnePlus Nord 9R has been released with an Android 11 out-of-the-box. So, the upcoming Android 12 update will be its first major OS update.

The OnePlus 9R will get three years of major Android upgrades and four years of security patches reportedly.
The OnePlus 9R Software Update is currently rolling out to Indian users. Your device should receive the update soon.
Hence, once it’s available on your device, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to update your OnePlus device with the update.
