The OnePlus 6 Android 11 Update has taken another step towards the major Android 11 Update with the OxygenOS Android 11 Open Beta 3 released for its users.

The OxygenOS Android 11 Open Beta 1 and 2 for the OnePlus 6 was released last month along with OxygenOS 11 skin, some new and exciting features and much more.

Now, the latest OnePlus 6 Android 11 Update with Open Beta 3 has brought some system fixes and improvements to optimize the performance and fix the reported issues from the previous Open Beta 1 and 2 updates.

The Open Beta 3 released with OxygenOS 11 for the OnePlus 6 has been released to gather feedback before officially releasing the major/stable Android 11 update.

The OnePlus 6 was released in May 2018 with an Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

How long will it get updates?

The OnePlus 6 has received two major OS updates with Android 9 Pie and Android 10. So, the Android 11 update will be its third and last major OS update.

However, it will continue to receive Security updates for this year at least.
