Realme GT 2 Software Update:

Realme has begun the incremental update of the April 2022 security patch via OTA for the Realme GT 2 model. The latest update comes with the build number RMX3312_11_A.17 which integrates the security patch and fixes some known issues to improve the system stability and performance of the device.

Realme GT 2 was released on January 8th, 2022 with Android 12 Realme UI 3.0 out-of-the-box.

To fix the security issues, it integrates the April 2022 Android security patch. Some system improvements have also been made in the new OTA update. There was a problem with the functionality of the applications which has now been fixed. Lagging issues in the device were hampering the performance of the device which has now been improved. Some previously known issues have also been fixed to improve the system stability.

Note that this is a staged rollout to ensure the stability of this update. The update will be randomly pushed to a limited number of users to rule out any critical bugs. If no critical bugs are found, the full rollout will be completed within a few days.

How long will Realme 9i get updates?

Realme GT 2 was released with Android 12 out-of-the-box and till now, it has not received any major update. Hence, it is eligible for its first OS update i.e Realme UI 4.0, based on Android 13.

With the recent announcements by the company, the device is eligible for two OS updates after the Android 12 version. So it is anticipated that the device will be getting the Android 14 as well.
